I am curious what is the one thing that you will never bet with? I am not talking about life because I think almost everyone will say that already but instead I am talking about other things. Like your house, your car or maybe some weird thing like your favorite shirt or the mug your father gave you. Those kinds of things. It would be interesting to see how people value different things within the metrics of gambling.
I dont gamble. Ive never felt the need to, and I simply dont want to risk what I have. Its not worth it for me to lose my peace or the things I love for a moment of excitement.
You gamble in many ways without even know it because most of the things you do are actually gambling but in different forms. If you don't place bet on the casino but invest money in other businesses you are not sure of the outcome, that is gambling but in another form. The only difference between placing a bet in a casino and some of the businesses you do for profits is the level of risk involved and how you are able to mitigate those risk. There are still people gambling that are able to handle risk properly in such a way that losses does not get to them. I'm am actively working to get to that point that losses will no longer get to me, although it is not always an easy process but it is possible.
