I am curious what is the one thing that you will never bet with? I am not talking about life because I think almost everyone will say that already but instead I am talking about other things. Like your house, your car or maybe some weird thing like your favorite shirt or the mug your father gave you. Those kinds of things. It would be interesting to see how people value different things within the metrics of gambling.
Anything that is a property i own i will not bet with it, i have positioned my mind such that it is only with money i find it comfortable enough to gamble wit, i don't consider using another thing because i cannot stand loosing my properties to the fact that i was gambling or i placed it as a bet on something but if it is money i really don't feel it as much because i know somehow i will be able to make money thereafter but with properties, you will then start to look for ways to start purchasing them again after you must have lost it to the person you have placed the bet wit and in some cases trying to replace the properties may cost you even more than when you bought it.
One other thing i think may likely consider to use as a stake will be a service, i would agree to offering a service to the person at an agreed frame with the conditions i am going to state for which if the person agrees then it will be the bases for the bet asides this and actual money, i will rather not bet.
