does the comfort of a casino add to how much you want to gamble? i have been thinking that the services of a casino to make you feel as comfortable as possible are they only tactics to keep you in longer inside the casino and spend more?

but what about those not so expensive casino or betting sites? there’s usually no air conditioning unit, it’s small and cramped but there are still people who go there to bet maybe because the desire to bet is higher than their desire for comfort

is comfort a big deal to you when gambling?

I think it all depends of the context, the country and the culture of the population... There are places when gambling houses are truly common places, with there several "houses" on the same street. However, they are very informal establishments, there are practically like bars where no one seeks luxury or also comfort. People just want to go there to bet on slots, for example, while drinking a beer and then be able to leave without any "red tape".

But there are also too other places where luxury is mandatory. Like the casinos for people of high social status or for those who travel to another country only to enjoy an  experience completely different... At these places, entertainment is much more important than winning money.

And there are also intermediate casinos, which are not very luxurious but are forced to offer some kind of difference or attraction to compensate for the number of bettors they've already lost to online gambling sites.
