This is great news. My Laptop has a biometric sensor, and few Apps support biometric authentication. The only other App/software that supports Fingerprint login is KeePassXC, my favorite password manager.
If you can try it out and test if everything works fine.
KeePassXC is really great, and I think you can also use it with alternative like Yubikey.
I don't believe it will work on Linux. Even though also supports biometric authentication, it only works for login on the system.
There must be some workaround for this, or someone should create it.
In the last part of the same guide, Trezor mentioned the need to re-authenticate every five minutes and I find this to be somewhat annoying (I do know it doesn't take that much time, but still...)![/sup]
I think this feature is mostly created if you are not home, but traveling with your laptop.
Luckily it's easy to disable or enable it in settings.
