Most times you dont really know you are addicted. At some point, you get addicted and come out of it. Well, I will say it is the mindset and self awareness. When you get addicted, you wont know unless you realize later that the habit is becoming part of your daily routine and that you cant stop yourself from gambling..
I’ll agree with this point… a lot of people don’t even realize they’re already hooked.
The worst part is that you usually realize the addiction only when you’re already in deep, and without iron self-control (which not everyone has) or outside help, it’s extremely hard to get out. The key is to be honest with yourself early: “Yeah, I’ve got a problem” - and deal with it before it consumes you. Sure, gambling can be fun, but when that fun starts dictating your choices and running your day, you’ve crossed into addiction territory.[/list]
