I expected more than a goal from Aston villa today, but they could only score a goal in the match which they got in the early minutes of the match. Aston villa didn’t play anything special in the match, Bologna dominated the match, but they couldn’t score in the match. I don’t know what’s really wrong with Aston villa performance this season, their performance has dropped drastically, I never expected Aston villa to be playing poorly. Aston villa just had their first win of the season, they have played 7 matches this season, and they have been able to win just a match which is the one which they won today.
Goals were scarce in this game because, from the chances that were created in this game there would have been plenty of goals that should have been scored. The both sides really came out to play but we're not lucky as the two goalkeepers were fantastic in stopping the strikers from scoring, Aston Villa even missed a penalty if not the game would have ended 2:0.
This game was just against Bologna. Because Bologna did all it takes to score but luck was against them because in the second half Bologna came out to play and even hit the woodwork with the ball. This was a fair game and Aston Villa made sure that they got all three points.
