It was a deserving win for them but they had to really put in the effort to get the win actually, it did not come easily for them. I did expected more Aston Villa actually because  they were the hosting side, they had the opportunity to win like a host and the bigger side but then they win eventually and that is what matters the most, but I must say with this kind of performance, they may not have a chance  at the europa this season if they do not get improved.

Aston Villa was lucky to secure the win tonight because it's not easy to defend 1 goal the early minutes that the goal was scored to the full-time, Bologna didn't utilize their chances they should have equalize the goal cause at some point they were dominating the game but the home team defended and made sure they sealed the victory with the goal they managed to score. Aston Villa needs to get better in performance because when they progress to the level where they will meet a better opponent they can't win games with the performance they displayed against Bologna.
Bologna isn't a small team also, but considering the performance of Aston Villa last season in the champions league, they were supposed to beat Bologna effortlessly and wait for tougher fixtures. But we know that from time, Europa league appears more difficult to predict than the champions league. So, I do not blame, rather I praise Aston villa for securing the whole 3 points which is the most important.

I watched Sancho play tonight and honestly he didn't do badly. Sancho is a good footballer just like Marcus. I think the problem they had was more from the management side.
