Hopefully, they’ll sponsor more poker tournaments like the last poker tournament again here in bitcointalk.
Such tournaments seem too tempting, considering the good prize pool and the small number of participants. It looks like only 69 participants took part in the last tournament, with 15 of them winning prizes. It's definitely a profitable tournament for the participants, but I'm not sure if it's profitable for the organizer.
Only profitable for the casino if the players who deposit end up losing their money, which I don’t think is what they want to happen here. I believe the main reason they sponsor these tournaments is more for the community and as a way of advertising their brand here in the forum.
But yeah, I’d say the casino doesn’t really earn direct profit in terms of cash from these sponsored tournaments. For example, in my case, I once deposited wagered a bit then just withdrew the remaining profit/balance.
It can't be denied that many gamblers are becoming established in the gambling industry here in the crypto space. Here in our country alone,
online gamblers are truly rampant, to be honest.
Especially since many poker players are now getting hooked on this. Because of that, the sponsors won't really regret their investment,
and from what I see, it looks like they're not losing money, in my opinion.
