Bitcoin is ahead , but altcoins often outperform it in certain cycles. When Bitcoin rallies, capital flows in, and once it slows, traders sometimes rotate into smaller tokens for higher returns. This dynamic is tracked through Bitcoin dominance.

Balancing between Bitcoin’s stability and altcoins’ potential upside is part of portfolio management. Timing is key betting on altcoins too early can be painful, while waiting too long can mean missing opportunities. The question isn’t whether altcoins will move, but when.Would you put your confidence in Bitcoin’s dominance or risk chasing altcoin surges?
Even if you risk chasing altcoin surge there's absolutely no guarantee the coin of your choice gonna go up Grin.
See the recent altcoin surge and observe how the top gainer are the new coin only. TIA, ADA, and other altcoins? forget about it dude, they vastly left behind by BTC in term of gain and performance.

I'm even thinking of allocating all my altcoin bags to bitcoin only knowing bitcoin is always the winner at time of bullish like this.

I have learnt that altcoins gained are short term while bitcoin gains are long term. Even when we are near the end of the bull market, the altcoins give us good entries even at this point of the cycle how bitcoin has come far above from around 20K to 110K.

The roam for bitcoin to go above from here may be less and hence gains if you invest in bitcoin now may be low but altcoins entries now can give more profits. However, in the bear market it is best to accumulate bitcoins.
