Saying PSG is better this year than they were last year does not seem so true to me because performance recently is not as impressive as it were last season but they are actually not doing terribly they will definitely get much from this season, they will have a lot to contend with this session then they did last season so they will need even more effort to be able to do as much last season.
While I'm not worried about their performance in Ligue 1, they may have to work harder for the Champions League.
At least considering their performance at the start of this season, compared to PSG's performance at the start of last season, I agree with your opinion that their performance isn't as impressive as last season. But it's still early in the season, the competition is still going on, and we'll see if the competing teams can be consistent.
