I have been gambling for years, maybe I have been addicted to it at some point even though I never noticed, however I'm a little in control of my gambling activities. Something still get me confused regarding gambling addiction that is a hot topic here and I want to get opinion of others on these areas:
- How do you know you are addicted to gambling
- How easy it is to be addicted to gambling?
- Can an addicted gambler work himself out of that addiction without help from anyone, if yes, is it still addiction?
Yes an addicted gambler can work themselves out of gambling at any time they decide to work them selves out of it. You only need to want to work on yourself whenever you see that you are no longer happy with how addicted you have been gambling. The reason why some of them do find it difficult to exit is because they literally have not accepted that gambling is affecting them already and they do not want to continue in that direct of addiction they have been and so they find it hard and make it look like it is hard to quit addiction.
When once you notice you are beginning to go put of your way to gamble and it does comes with a very stimulating urge that you only find peace after you must have gambled such that this occurrence is experienced everyday then you are addicted and should work on it to exit the addiction. Some other person may not gwt to this point because this point is when ot is becoming chronic, if you actually find yourself frequenting the casino too often, it's a sign of an early stage addiction.
