In that match, Real Madrid actually dominated the match, as they held much of the ball. But the Atletico Madrid players were amazing, they utilized counter-attacks very well and accurately. Because of that, Atletico Madrid was able to turn things around and ultimately win this match.
I wasn't that surprised with the outcome of this game because even though Real Madrid had played well this season to be leading the table, they haven't belike they can win every team this season. The game wasn't Real Madrid own to win because apart from the possession, they didn't dominate any other parts of the game. Atletico Madrid were the ones that took the game serious. They really wanted to win and took all their important chances to win the game. Güler and Mbappe were the only players from the Real Madrid team that I can say tried their best because they both got a goal yesterday. Alvarez came close to getting another hat trick again and had an incredible performance.
