I can't even remember the last time Real Madrid conceded so many goals in a single match. Someone wrote yesterday that Real Madrid hadn't faced any strong teams this season and that the match against Atletico would be a test for them, and I can say that it looks like they failed that test. It was a good match for Atletico, but after a match like that, one wonders why they haven't played as well as yesterday before, dropping points against Mallorca, Alaves, and Elche.
Are you really surprised with that outcome yesterday? Despite that I didn't expect that much humiliation, I wasn't too surprised because Athletico Madrid always turn prime against Real Madrid. Well, I quite agree that Madrid haven't had a test yet this season until yesterday and unfortunately they failed the test. Let be realistic here, Madrid defense is nothing to write home about and this might just be the beginning of failure if things continue this way. As for Athletico Madrid, they can do better if they continue to play with the type of seriousness they use to play against Real madrid all the time.
