Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity
Local board charts lovers rejoice, its time for yet another brief monthly overview of local boards activity, this time for August 2025. All charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space.
Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bengali) don't have their own local boards but are part of this overview nevertheless.
Post activity per local board during August 2025
During August, 13107 posts were made across the local boards which is a drop compared to July's 13775 posts. Main cause of the drop is Russian local board that went from 2773 in July to only 2170 in August, their lowest amount of posts since I started making this overview more than 5 years ago.
Needless to say, Nigerian is again at the top, with even higher amount of posts than previous month. Will be interesting to see how high they can actually go.
Active members per local board during August 2025
1344 members write at least one post in local boards during August, which is a small decrease compared to July (1348). To be honest, I expected much bigger decrease since number of posts went down noticeably, but luckily that wasn't the case.
Russian board barely managed to stay at the top, ahead of Nigerians, but I think that its just a matter of time when they drop at 2nd spot on this chart as well (wouldn't be surprised for that to happen next month).
Local board members per amount of posts during August 2025
When it comes to the percentage of members who wrote only 1 post in their board during August, leader is French board where exactly half of their active members wrote 1 post only, while at the same time Croatian board had only 12.5 % of such members.
At the 2-9 posts bracket leader is Romanian board with 50%, while at the same bracket Portuguese local board had only 16% of members in that bracket.
Regarding the 10+ posts bracket, Croatian board is the leader with 56% members while at the same time Polish is at the bottom with only 10% of members who wrote 10+ posts druing August.
Merit shared per local board during August 2025
9258 merit was shared acorss 18 local boards during August, which is a noticeable increase compared to month before (8367 in July). We basically owe this ~10% increase to German board who went from only 604 merit shared in July to 1722 in August. You don't see that kind of increase often.
Regarding the top merited board, Nigerian remained at the top with very similar amount of merit like in July (2296) and that's also interesting is that in in Pakistan thread they shared the exactly the same amount of merit like in July.
Merit/Post ratio per local board during August 2025
Due increase of the amount of merit shared and decrease of the amount of posts, an average merit/post ratio acorss local boartd naturally went up from 0.6 in July to 0.7 in August. Romanian board is back at the top with very high 2.07 merit per post, but German is not that far away with 1.85, which is even more impressive since its one of the most active local boards.
At the same time, Greek board wenmt on with the decrease, and this time they had only 0.02 merit shared per post which is comparable to some of the lowest quality parts of the forum and I am sure that its not the righ representation of the situation there.

562 members sent while 701 received merit which is an expected increase compared to July (534 senders, 641 receiver). At the top is Nigerian board, while German and Russian are far behind.
Percentage of merited posts across local boards during August 2025
Romanian board is regularly at the top here, ranging from 50-75% of merited posts, but this time they outdid themselves- 100% of the posts written in August got merited. Even though they wrote only 27 posts in that period, its still quite impressive feat. And then on the other side we have Greek board where less than 2% of the posts were merited (to be more specific, only 1 post got merited).

Usually, boards with high merit per post ratio are at the top here, but this time French board took that title despite having quite low (~0.3) merit per post.

Last but not the least in this monthly overview, the list of the most active members per local board. joker_josue from Portuguese local remained at the top with 136 posts (which is quite low number for him) while Julien_Olynpic (135) and klarki (122) from Russian board are at the 2nd and 3rd spot. GG guys, keep it up!
