Africa is less technologically advanced than the others owing to their little percentage, secondly most people in African don't practice self-custody, they buy and hold on exchanges which does not count towards true ownership on bitcoin. I believe with time proper knowledge would spread and more people may want to hold bitcoin rightly because bitcoin in the possession of a custodian doesn't count in proper adoption.
