Actually Real Madrid was not that strong team since the starting of this season it has been one problem to the other and despite that they still manage to maintain their winnings both in the league and outside the league though I was actually expecting a lost from the any time soon but probably not at this time and definitely not from ATM and even if it does happen not with such margin but I was all wrong, never the less it's still a fresh season and I still very much believe Xabi Alonso is cooking, so even if Barcelona top the league now I still believe Real Madrid can still come back to the top.
It’s very difficult to remain unbeaten for an entire season, even though Real Madrid have quite an ideal squad depth. Still, a 5–2 defeat should never have happened, and of course that result is very disappointing. Perhaps no one expected Atletico to pull it off, especially considering their poor start to the season. In any case, Real Madrid are still in a transition period, with Xabi Alonso needing more time to experiment so the team can become more solid.
Barcelona have temporarily taken the top spot in the standings, and everything can still change as the season goes on. Real Madrid are only one point behind, which is easy to close if Barcelona draw or lose a match. Real Madrid chances of reclaiming first place are wide open, but of course Barcelona will never make it easy.
