I did not know that the ICC Women's World Cup started after the Asia Cup, but after coming here, I came to know that the first match of the ICC Women's World Cup was held today. However, the India Women's team won the first match and they defeated the Sri Lanka Women's team by a big margin of 59 runs. Apart from becoming the champion of this year's Asia Cup, the women's team also made a good start in the first match of the ICC Women's World Cup.
However, after the game, I saw the Cricbuzz score and the Indian women's team batted first and ended their innings on 269 runs and the Sri Lanka women's team was all out for 211 runs.
