Ruben Amorim have always been a rigid person, well we didn’t know this until he started coaching Manchester United, from the first day he started he knew these set of Manchester United can not play this formation but he has stick to it and that has been causing him results.
It not the board but Amorim, the board can not dictate what formation the coach will use, it result every one wants, and also the best for the club. What I know boards do is to try to sign players but not dictating the formation the coach should use after all it the coach that get sacked when things are not going well at the team.
Coaches should be open to new ideas if the strategy they are applying is not effective. Maybe Ruben Amorim feels that his formation is not the problem but the instability of players to adapt to the style or work hard.
Many sports analysts feel that the 3-4-3 formation overburdens the midfield and gives opponents the opportunity to exploit the spaces opened in the defence. But he is insisting on using it. Even Pep Guardiola had to change his pattern when they met Arsenal recently, Ruben should be flexible.
its obvious the 3-4-3 formation used by Reuben Amorim isn't effective as its quite the stress for his players to adapt. i think in the best interest of the club,Reuben amorim should be open to new tactics,test it and see if the players can adapt quickly to it instead using an already failed strategy that's bringing the team backward. I don't know what's holding the Board from sacking Reuben Amorim,they should simply do to Reuben Amorim what Bayer leverkusen did to Erik Ten Hag. They shouldn't be anymore room to accommodate Reuben Amorim incompetence anymore at manchester united.
