Everybody has forgotten what Nukes can do. If Putin used nukes, there wouldn't be any Ukrainians to do any begging.
Putin is working as hard as he can to develop methods to increase Russian abilities without using nukes... more powerful and capable missiles, for example. After all, he doesn't want any nuclear fallout blowing into Russia.
