I think that this normal human nature to look for patterns even where patterns do not work. That is why I don't believe mostly anything ritual or traditions that people should partake in before a game. You hear most person say that any time that they do something or act in a certain way that they often win a game but if it is so true it means that such persons should be consistent winners because if they've observed the pattern, I do not believe that they would want to deviate from it. This is why I feel that gambling rituals or traditions are just mere superstition and a figment of the persons imagination created just to make them feel like they have an edge over the game they want to play and a higher chance of winning.
