This should be a fun one....

What are some of your beliefs or superstitious about gambling?

What is a gambling ritual or tradition you like to partake in or perform before (or during) a game?
My religion sees gambling as unethical. It's not forbidden but it is frowned upon by the leadership of my religious organisation. So I grew up in a home that had no belief or superstition about gambling. I left home and started gambling but never had any belief that some rituals or traditional practices could bring gambling wins or success. Besides skills and luck, I don't have any other belief about gambling. And I don't perform any rituals before, during or after gambling.

But I have heard that some people visit traditional doctors for luck charms. I can't attest if these charms are potent or not.
I think people who believe in superstitions to increase their chances of winning are completely mistaken in their understanding of gambling. Regardless of background, I think it is better not to rely on superstitions, and it is more logical to focus on improving skills and controlling emotions while gambling. I think that if superstitions were truly effective in increasing winning chances, many bookmakers would probably be bankrupt by now. Personally, I sometimes tend to follow my instincts when placing bets, even though I often end up losing.
