      The first Proof of Stake countrycoin for Canada includes an Aurora style Airdrop of 147 coins (for up to 5 million Canadians aged 13+) on July 1, Canada Day. That is one coin for each year that Canada has been a country.

      The coins pays 15% in year one, with interest (minimum stake time) paid approximately every 6 hours! This can become for the average Canadian a high interest account with capital appreciation potential, as well as a useful, secure peer to peer currency.

      I can understand that there is a usual (and healthy) skepticism when new alt-coins are released, and especially those with a premine, or that don't introduce new technology. Our intention is not to reinvent the wheel, but rather build on the shoulders of past experiments in this space to deploy a well used and genuinely useful currency, which is supported by a broad base of Canadians and merchants alike. Endless tech innovation may appeal to some, but the average person has still not heard about or used Bitcoin.  Zero premine coins may appeal miners with big rigs, but leave the project devoid of resources (and begging) to properly promote and implement. If crypto-currency is going to be successful then it has to move into the mainstream to grow the adoption and marketshare for everyone. We believe that Canada is a good country for adoption, with a tech savvy population, and (so far) relatively friendly regulatory stance.
