Yes, I believe so, but I'm not 100% certain. If it wasn't synced am I screwed? I tried -salvagewallet to no avail, but since there are confirms I didn't think this would work anyway...

I think you need to sync your wallet to complete the transaction because there is no data available for this transaction on chain.
