Lil confusion here: If we merge mined, how are we getting paid other coins except Parallaxcoin because we are putting the address of Parallaxcoin address only in the command. 
When you connect to the pool, you are specifying two addresses; the PLX address, and the coin you are merged-mining with. Please refer to:

For the miner settings that pertain to each pool - they involve a combination of the two wallet addresses you plan to mine into.
