Long proof of work period to establish worth and give many miners a chance to gain some coin.  Also this will be GPU/CPU only so no chances for ASIC farms to destroy profits

Possibly considering a 99% PoS 1% PoW system.  Having the coin go back into PoW 1% of the year.  Unsure of whether this is a possibility going to do some testing before committing to doing it.

Otherwise the above extended PoW to PoS system would be used about 8-9 months of PoW followed by pure PoS.

 

Hybrid so you receive PoS coins AND can still mine coins with PoW.  As mentioned above considering a possibility of being the first PoS system that goes back to PoW.  Working on ways to implement this but if it is possible then the PoW time would be shortened to just 1% of the year (about 4 days) and then the PoS would start.  1 year later the mining would return! giving miners a chance to get coins again! what do you all think of this idea?

I agree it does feel a little weird.  I was thinking maybe 99pCoin may be the way to go instead? Any opinions?
