I believe it was SgtSpike who was running a server where he was paying for certain tasks. This was however funded by mining equipment which is now past it's prime in term of earnings, and his server got popular, so it may not pay much at all now.

It seems to still be active, people are still replying in the forum and everything, but I can't seem to get onto the server. GRRRR. Not sure why....However! it is there, it is active, as far as I can tell, and he still does pay out for every block mined. It has dropped in price, dramatically, but I'm on a lot. XD so hopefully it will give me...something....XD

Managed to connect, seems dead to me though. There is one place near spawn that buys wood, but I cant sell any for some reason.
