How many max bets were placed? Had the 2.5 BTC ready to fire away but was not around when the time of the last one was.
Only one was placed (the one of stingleword's pool). So if you had placed one, you would have had half a chance to win 1BTC, plus your normal winnings (with odds 98.25%). And of course even more than half a chance with several 2.5 bets...
Too bad you were not around, there was a nice opportunity for high rollers, but nobody took it
