I just got this in my inbox , a user has submitted a mac wallet, I have not tested or done a virus scan on it!!! If someone could please send this file through the ringer for virus testing then I think MAC users will be grateful.

Hi, I love your coin!  I've been waiting for a coin with this concept, it's long overdue.  I would like to contribute a Mac wallet to the project.

@ChristianVirtual you are a big mac fan right?  Wink

That's not a mac .app, that's a folder called curecoin.app.
nor does it contain any of the usual graphic resources that a qt wallet build normally would.
Than if you do rename it curecoin.app, its icon is grumpy meme cat going bleh.

malware, trolling or dropboxing the wrong thing error?
clamxav reads 0 virii and running it doesn't prompt for an admin password so limited harmfulness, but still not a mac wallet Sad

No, just incompetence.   Smiley  I must have uploaded the wrong thing.  Give me a few minutes and I'll fix it.

Lol bleh. What was it then? 'Cos I launched it on my 'safe' mac and now i don't know if i need a restart or to forcequit something.

It should have just been a zip file with the source code and the wallet app.  The grumpy cat bleh image was what was in the original source code download.  I thought I had changed it to the Curecoin logo but apparently the original image stuck.

Anyway, even though it's working ok on my Mavericks Mac, I reuploaded the app to Dropbox and had my colleague try to run it on Lion and it just crashes, so I'm removing it from Dropbox.  Hopefully somebody with a little more experience can get a working Mac wallet for everyone soon.

I would imagine you don't need to do anything on your Mac...if it's still trying to run a force quit should take care of it, and a restart definitely will.
