Hello all,

My name is Kevin Beardsley, and I am the new Director of Membership at the Bitcoin Foundation.

I know I speak for everybody at the Bitcoin Foundation in saying "Thank you". Your work, enthusiasm, and commitment is core to Bitcoin's success. And while we haven't always done a good job of communicating it, we greatly appreciate your support.

My mission is to work with you to bring a new level of transparency and collaboration to the Bitcoin Foundation membership.  We will achieve this by taking a page from bitcoin itself - we will focus our efforts on developing the structures, processes and incentives to encourage collaborative creation.  

Toward that end, we have spent the past weeks listening. Listening to understand what is causing friction, listening to what creates great outcomes, and listening to how we can better support you.  

I'd rather keep this email short and let our actions do the talking over the coming weeks and months.

So, on behalf of the entire Bitcoin Foundation we would like to say "Thank you for your support."   And stay tuned...
