umm, I'm on v1.5 and having some new issues. I didn't have my wallet encrypted before, so I didn't have to worry about unlocking it for minting. After upgrading, I encrypted wallet, and I tried to use the button on the front page to unlock wallet. The password was accepted and the button now says "Lock Wallet", however I am still seeing a message at the bottom left saying that minting is suspended because of a locked wallet. So, I went to console and tried walletpassphrase, and it told me that wallet is already unlocked. So, it seems like it is unlocked, but the message just isn't going away at the bottom left...
Don't worry about the msg - the only thing you have to check is the lock symbol (bottom right) - if it's full black - it is locked. Gray, unlocked.
The text on the button, on the overview page, is the "action" you want to do, not the status. If it says Lock Wallet, and you press on it, it will lock the wallet. If it says Unlock Wallet and you press on it, it will ask you for your password and unlock the wallet.
The Minting suspended msg will disappear after the next block is found on the network while your wallet was open, and unlocked. The network is real slow to find block at the moment, but it is moving, at about 1 block / h.
yea, the message went away eventually, and I noticed that if I hover over the gray lock it says encrypted and unlocked for minting now. Thanks for response tho!
