What I'm wondering is if it's still ACIS recistent? A few weeks back someone said N-scrypt is also possible to ACIS mine now? Could anyone give some update on what happened on this subject? Maybe it was just FUD.
Flower Tech is the only one I've heard of that is saying their scrypt ASIC will also do scrypt-n. They don't have any actual products yet, so it's just vaporware right now. Also I heard the hash rate will be 2x or even 4x slower than scrypt.
There's no way to mine scrypt-n with the current scrypt ASICs (Gridseed pod, Gridseed blade, Gridseed A2, etc.). You can't just do a firmware update to add different algorithms either. So I think Execoin is in a really good position when the scrypt ASIC wave hits.
