If you read over the last couple of pages it says that Coin2 was double spent on Mintpal and we are issuing a new coin very soon.

It wasn't the result of a giant insect attack or something along those lines.

If you have coins on an exchange, they will be exchanged for you by the exchange when the exchange has new coins to exchange.
