TheStuhlman can't force pools to close operations. Stop blaming everybody else and take a long look in the mirror. It's your fault and nobody else's and there was nothing misleading in the announcement. Learn to take responsibility for your own action or inaction.
Really?? - Stuhlmans nitro pools could have closed for starters (Which he IS responsible for!)
I certainly can't keep track of the announcements 24 hours a day, and it wasn't clear that there WOULD be more coins mined than could be exchanged. Regardless of whether or not I managed to exchange my own coins, there is still the issue that 20% of mined coins could not be exchanged. This is not the fault of the miners, but is the responsibility of the devs. It could have been stopped by changing block reward to 0 even if the pools did not shut down. No matter what happened to me - there would always be a huge percentage of miners lose out because of the overmining -
WHICH COULD AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY THE DEVS!
