So +1 posts are validly reportable, or is this a possible depends on the mod that handles it situation? I see quite a lot of +1s around and I guess they add little to nothing to the discussion really.
+1 = I agree, yes, here here, hell yeah, etc.
What's wrong with offering support to what someone else posted by simply agreeing with them? Do you have to give a reason as well to qualify your post?
Apparently so, but it's not that hard to briefly state
why you agree. I guess the rules are here to encourage discussion on subjects not just clutter it up with pages of +1s etc that offer very little. If you find yourself agreeing with something someone has said, it's fine to state you do, but offer something else as well, otherwise there's probably not much point.
