If this was advertised properly, both from the technical and the visual perspective, it would gather more attention.

This is an opensource project and should have community support and not expect or dump everything on the developer my time is limited and focused on dev work only atm
I'm not saying you're the one to do it, but if you, the main dev don't do anything it looks like a forgotten dead swamp. Since my technical lingo is very limited (just a user), I'm left to basically word of mouth type of advertising, which is not enough. Also an established name helps a lot, which also isn't me.
Just the fact that this thread has 10 pages doesn't inspire that much confidence to outsiders. For me this changes when I see voices like cinnamon, etc.
