If you go out to silicon valley with a project that has the potential - that is all it needs, potential - to be the future eCash system of choice, even a second runner behind Bitcoin, then VCs would give you $100m and more. And you know that is possible, because that is how they work.
Darkcoin is undervalued right now. If it can get to $1bn in a few years time, a $50m valuation buy price now is worth the high risk gamble.
