I have no sympathies for them. They chose their own path. Sometimes people get so blinded by hatred to someone that they end up harming themselves. They tried to poke Russia by joining NATO and conducting NATO military exercises close to the Russian border. But at the same time they forgot that as a nation, they were fading away.

Citizen and leaders in some small countries acting irrationally against a bigger opponent next to them. Knowing full well their own country can be crushed with little effort either military or economically.
It isn't just Russia neighbors acting this way. Vietnam, Philippine and Japan are also playing with fire with China.
