The instamine worked great to provide sufficient market liquidity upfront, first miners were selling DRKs left and right for batches of 10.000 DRKs / 0.25 BTCs and thus the issuing rate / debasement rate of the next coins was better. Epic win.
Fast mining at the start => quick distribution at dirt cheap prices (nobody valued their instamined coins) => slow inflation next => good for price stability / increase.
DRK is issuing 2880 coins, BTC 3600 and LTC 28.800 coins per day.
in fact every coin that started with anti-instamine blocks are dead right now, it make you think about it..
but still i don't like instamine done by a single person/small group, instead instamine done by everyone(or large horde of miners)at start is good
