I am sorry but that is not correct. I keep seeing that, and none of it makes sense to me. I even asked about it, the explanation i was given is that the coins can be used as currency, or they can be used to "buy into" future dac projects. That is NOT the same as owning stock in a company. You don't own stock in apple, then have to sell the stock back to apple to be invested in the iphone.

I like the coin and everything but it seems like calling the coin a stock is misinformation.
