I used to key in my password wrongly, and got the IP blocked warning message. However, I can log in right away I entered my correct password, despite being "blocked".
Ugh... that's the type of security that doesn't inspire a lot of trust.
Do you have a dynamic IP assigned to you at least, or something that could get it confused?
