Yes, it's true.  As the description says above "Its network hash rate ranks consistently in the top 1% compared to ALL other crypto-currencies."  Just look at its hash rate on vircurex.com, which is 6,500 Tera Hash today, and find ANY other crypto with a higher one and a block time under 10 minutes.  You can't find one!!!
