How do you biggies all handle this up and down with real money? I mean its funny to loose or win a few bucks but if you do more then a few grand... wow that would mentally kill me.

I'm no "biggie" myself... I just bet with some coins I mined and then a very small amount of dollars from my Pell grant... (think two orders of magnitude less than the "biggies")... And I will still cry (on the inside) if I lose it all, because I could have used that money for cheeseburgers and tacos
