Apparently I have more faith in humanity than anyone else around here

I'll implement the masternode payments via hardfork, who knows, maybe all of you are right.
By the way, I'm not talking about the price now or even in a year. It's about the security of the network when it's large enough to support a decent amount of transactions. Giving a higher reward simply doubles or triples the cost of such an attack, 10% was just too low.
Thanks. This really puts me at ease. The motto of all crypto... you are required to trust NO ONE.
As for 20%, I have no problem with this especially since you seemed to consider how the network will be years down the road when coming up with this number.
When the price gets much, much, much higher and x11 algo coins are being produced at a faster rate and some of them hit sustainable price levels, ASICs will probably become a feature of Darkcoin. Then we might actually see the master nodes payment go up because mining effort goes down?
I think I said a few hundred pages back, master nodes might end up with upto 50% of the rewards, but that might be a problem with the 7% reduction in coins issued each year. Either way, the price goes up, up, up, up, because of the many contributing factors around the tech implementation from anonymity to master node rewards, to reducing coin supply to actual real world need for a practical anonymity coin that can sit alongside the same systems used to implement Bitcoin because of its popularity.
Can't remember where I read it, but this coin is the never ending pump coin. It just keeps on giving.
