NEM announcement was 4 months ago.
When the dev work started... 2 months ago?  Not so long ago.

Are there faster coins?  ---copy coins not noticed.


It took too long before there was a user Nxt wallet and that's why people probably walked away, including me. Of course it had also to do with not being able to forge since there were accounts who forged almost all of it.
