Any old wireless bridge will do the trick. There are plenty of cheap ones out there. Such as

this or even
this! Those to me are inexpensive.
Thanks for the links, volder. However, they're in the US and I'm in Canada, so unless I want to go through another 2-3 days of waiting for stuff to come, they're not all that helpful. I'll do some searching on amazon.ca (and elsewhere) and see if I can come up with something within my limited, low-income, living-on-a-pension budget.
My point, though, is that it would've been nice to know this
before now. Also, I'm still wondering what my other options are, such as running the pi using the pi o/s and cgminer, or even maybe running it with my gridseeds on my other (linux laptop) controller?
