I've been offered some freelance work (online marketing, google adwords, split testing etc) to be paid in bitcoin.
Does anyone here have experience with this? Do you sell the btc as soon as you receive it to pay for your rent, food etc. How do you deal with taxes? Would I have to pay capital gains tax and income tax?
Particularly interested in experiences in the UK.

A lot of people here are paid in Bitcoin. You'll find different type of colorful signatures against their posts
For me, I dont sell bitcoin. Its a medium of exchange for me. I mainly store it for future use and sometimes buy online services against it. If u listen to the first generation of bitcoiners, they'll tell u how they feel like encashing it once upon a time, when bitcoin was in 2 digit. Hold it, and u'll cherish when it'll be 4 or 5 digit down the line.
