Cryptos bring out the worst and best in people. There are some very desperate people around that will stop at nothing to make money. In fact, I know one of them from Shanghai in China. He is jealous his friend holds lots of Darks, so now he is pumping XC. lol. 
Some ? I think that in the last year the % of people entering cryptos just to make some quick $ has got to 90%.
Forget what cryptos were supposed to be , right now it's just about the money , spread fud to drop the coins lower , buy in , spread fake good news to pump it and start again.
Don't forget to launch a new coin every week and do the same.
