Was talking to bitcoinbear in PM he said I should post here to the ideas forum.
There was this open-source project called DarkMarket which allows for anonymous and decentralized trading of goods and services, with an escrow feature by which a trusted third part (based on voting system) would arbitrate disputes or approve transactions.
Since then the original developers all have moved on to other projects except for one of the original people.
The DarkMarket project has re-branded itself to OpenBazaar (twitter is @OpenBazaar ).

OpenBazaar has not launched yet, originally they were just going to use Bitcoin for transactions, and anonymize the transactions with DarkWallet (if I am not mistaken).

that's a nice idea. cryptonote main feature is absolute anonymity - it sure suits to the OpenBazaar. even darkcoin dev talked about ring signatures and how is it the future of the anonymity. (if i recall correctly) i think bitcoinbear should look into it.
