i think you should search indian based datacenter hosting . i dont think he is misleading while all the assets (servers, communication lines, customer support, etc) that are used for conducting business, are in U.S.,
it is misleading to label this company as simply Indian. His announcement should have been posted to U.S. section of forum

On a serious note, if u have to go for a good hosting service, the fact of the day is, u need to opt for an US/EU data center. I tried with some Indian hosting provider (datacenter at India) and felt the pain of explaining their support team "What is a htaccess".
...it is true that having an office location for billing/administration in India, does not make u an Indian provider. And why do u need this label anyway ? When u r online, the world is uR marketplace. Sell the world, but pay tax in India
