A lot of charities use clicknpledge.com for easy donations, including NORML. So if clicknpledge accepts bitcoin, it will open the door for a bunch of other charities as well.
Mainly I just care about norml

I wonder how many organizations that received btc donates actually held on to their btc. Probably not many but I hope there's at least some that have reaped the rewards from holding.
